BIND-ET™ of Elchrom Scientific has the ability to remove the mutagen ethidium bromide (EtBr) safely and efficiently from aqueous solutions.
The EtBr solution is simply poured into the system and 100 % of any present EtBr is completely removed. The cartridge is situated in a closed system making it easy to handle. The system is not only simple and safe but also cost-effective. A single cartridge purifies up to 2 g of ethidium which corresponds to 4000 liters of EtBr solution, resulting in a very high capacity.
